Borne out of more than 50 year's experience, Eric Wiley began in 1957. The team consists of David Hughes, John Lisle (photographic) and Ben Goodfellow (AV).
Having 2 stores, each devoted to their field, gives us a more focussed approach. Walk in the Photographic store and you're surrounded by cameras, films, binoculars, scanners, telescopes, projectors & screens - plus all the associated paraphernalia any self-respecting photographer could want. Similarly, the Audio/Audio-Visual store offers customers a relaxed-atmosphere, lots of choice and a devoted private demonstration area - something a lot of other outlets cannot offer.
This is why we have many long-standing customers. When purchasing quality products, you want to try them, make sure you're buying what is right for you - the last thing you need is a pushy salesman and a feeling of being rushed into a sale. It just doesn't work like that here. "Our own success is not measured in terms of product knowledge and technical expertise." says David.
