The Rondo Red is a delightful all-round cartridge with a sound image which will tend to less dynamic strength and smoother reproduction. Because of this inclination, the cartridge will work perfectly with all sorts of less-complex music from a variety of genres. The Rondo Red has a very fine, polished elliptical diamond which is mounted on a cylindrical aluminum cantilever.
The cartridge is clearly out of the same family of sound as it’s older siblings the Bronze and the Blue – all of them taking benefit from the intricate wooden housings they share.
The recommended load is around 100Ω, or you can go even higher if you prefer added “air“ in your performances.
