The Phono Box SE II is a premium upgrade from it’s younger sibling, the old Phono Box II. The unit is a better phono preamp, both on technical and acoustic grounds. It is equipped with a higher grade power supply and offers a wide range of cartridge adaptation possibilities. It also has switchable subsonic filter to tighten the bass performance in certain environments. This unit offers a highly musical performance for MM and MC cartridges.
Key Features:
- Selectable impedance for MC cartridges
- Selectable load resistance for MM cartridges
- Selectable subsonic filter
- Metal case shields the electronics from vibrational and electromagnetic interference
- Special low-noise ICs used
- Optimal channel separation through dual-mono circuitry
- Gold plated RCA connection sockets
- Outboard power supply included
- DC operation with battery possible
- Amplification and RIAA equalisation for MM and MC cartridges
